July 4th, 2026 is very hot. Cities across America feel the heat. Many towns cannot have their parades. The temperatures are too dangerous. Some cities move their celebrations to the weekend. The weather is cooler then. This is a big change. July 4th is different this year.
Hospitals see many sick people. The heat makes people very ill. Doctors treat heat exhaustion. Doctors also treat heat stroke. Elderly people are at great risk. People without air conditioning suffer too. Doctors tell everyone to stay inside. The hottest time is in the afternoon.
Climate scientists say more hot days are coming. The world is getting warmer. Summers are changing in America. City planners must think about safety. They must plan outdoor events carefully. Hot weather will happen more often.
