I have found my new favourite word game, and I want to tell you about it. Ribbit is a daily puzzle on the website Puzzmo. The game gives you a maze of letters connected by lines. You have to find all the hidden words inside. What makes it special is how clever it looks. You can see how the letters are supposed to connect, which helps you find words. When you find enough words with a certain letter, that letter changes into a little frog.
As you keep playing, your screen fills with happy frogs. When you finish, they sing to you. There is always one very long word to find. I once found 'hippocampus' in under a minute. It felt amazing. This game is like Wordle was a few years ago. It takes only 10 minutes, and it makes you feel good about yourself. More importantly, it is a great alternative to scrolling through your phone. Instead of watching videos, you solve a puzzle and enjoy some singing frogs.
