Two old men live in a nice car. Their names are Doriano and Carlobianchi. They drink wine every day. They do not have jobs. They buy the car with money from stolen glasses. A man named Genio stole the glasses. He sold the glasses to his friends. The men hope that more wine will make them happy.
The two friends drive to Venice. They want to meet Genio. He ran away from the police. He is coming back to Italy. But the men make a mistake. They miss Genio at the airport. The film shows the real Venice. It looks like a normal town. The airport looks small and dirty.
A young student joins them. His name is Giulio. He studies buildings at a school. Giulio loves someone who does not love him back. They visit a special grave. A famous man named Carlo Scarpa made the grave. It is made of grey concrete. The grave makes people think about death. At the end, Giulio feels better. The film opened in cinemas on 10 July.
