Many expensive perfumes come from a tree called Aquilaria. When the tree is hurt, it makes a dark, smelly resin. This resin is called agarwood. People cut down many wild trees to get it. This has put the trees in danger.

Scientists are now using AI to help. They can take a small piece of bark and find the chemicals. Then the AI makes a new smell in a lab. This can copy the smell of a rare tree without cutting it down. A company called Osmo has done this.
But some people are not sure this is good for nature. They say making a fake smell does not stop people from buying the real one. Also, it does not fix other problems like habitat loss. Conservationists call it greenwashing.
